Warner Ervin has more than 4o years of serving students in Texas public schools. He began his career as a classroom teacher and retired as a Houston Independent School District (HISD) regional superintendent, responsible for 30,000 students in over 40 schools. Mr. Ervin’s thorough knowledge of instruction and administrative practices, and phenomenal interpersonal and organizational skills allowed him to experience many successes.

He was also responsible for implementing, supervising, and maintaining PreAP/AP Programs in all middle and high schools in the Houston ISD South Region. These were just some of Mr. Ervin’s accomplishments. He was also featured and recognized in Newsweek Magazine, The Miami Herald, The San Antonio Media, and the Japanese Educational Television Station for his efforts in education. Mr. Ervin believes all students can learn if they are given the necessary tools and if educators maintain an effective learning environment.
